Founded by Martyn & Nadia Levy in 2019, Nextro’s highly-focused and experienced team designs, installs, and manages network, cybersecurity, and physical security solutions for businesses throughout New Zealand and Australia.

Our team brings deep security experience derived from working across sectors such as financial services, transportation, critical infrastructure, retail and hospitality, logistics, education, and media.

Our team is specialised in providing comprehensive solutions covering the design, installation, and integration of LAN and SD-WAN environments, managed network and WiFi services, operational (OT) networks, voice and video communication solutions, cybersecurity solutions and training services, as well as physical security solutions such as video surveillance, access control, intrusion detection, ALPR/ANPR, intercoms, perimeter security and hostile vehicle mitigation.

With certifications from top industry vendors such as Genetec, Fortinet, Ruckus, Axis and Arista, we ensure that our team is suitably qualified and experienced to design and support reliable and innovative solutions backed by leading vendors.

Martyn Levy

Martyn is a Founder and Managing Director of Nextro.

Martyn’s drive at Nextro is to ensure that its customers have the right network and security solutions in place and operating efficiently so that they can focus on growing their businesses, securing their assets, and supporting their customers.

Martyn leads the sales and partnerships function for Nextro and, leveraging his deep strategic and telecommunications experience, often works closely with customers to help formulate a telecommunications and/or digital strategy to enable their medium to long term business objectives.

Martyn was previously Head of Strategy at 2degrees, and CEO of RoamAD, a WiFi solutions vendor that he sold in 2009 to a US company. Martyn has also worked in the venture capital industry, been a management consultant, and worked as a banking & finance lawyer in Moscow and Auckland.

Martyn is also a professional Non-Executive Director, Chartered Member of the Institute of Directors in New Zealand, and is a licensed Security Consultant.

Nadia Levy

Nadia is a Founder, Director and Head of Operations of Nextro.

Nadia runs the day-to-day operations at Nextro making sure our clients are happy and their networks remain up and running. Her passions include ensuring that Nextro is itself positioned for growth from a people, platforms, process and culture perspective. Nadia also oversees Nextro’s brand and digital marketing strategies as well as ensuring that, as we grow, we bring on the right talent that fits with Nextro’s culture, customer, and business needs.

Prior to joining Nextro full-time, Nadia was Change Manager where she managed the merger of two businesses in the childcare industry. Nadia also has over a decade of experience in the advertising industry having consulted to and worked for leading agencies such as DraftFCB, Publicis Mojo, and Ogilvy among others.

Tahir Ali

As the Senior Solutions Architect at Nextro, Tahir ensures that our network and security solutions are robust, scalable, and secure. Working closely with our engineering team and key vendors, Tahir collaborates with clients to ensure that our solutions meet or exceed their requirements.

With over two decades of experience, Tahir is passionate about designing and managing large-scale IP networks and security systems across various sectors, including multi-site retail precincts, media, stadiums, hotels, and business associations. His extensive skillset spans the entire process, from requirements gathering and solution design to overseeing implementation and operations, ensuring seamless and secure connectivity for customers.

Before joining Nextro, Tahir held senior roles overseeing significant projects and managing high-performing teams, while consistently delivering innovative network solutions.

Jan Pakan

Jan Pakan is the Division Lead for Physical & Electronic Security at Nextro, bringing over 15 years of global experience in systems integration, telecommunications, and enterprise security environments. A qualified Electronics Engineer, Jan has built deep expertise across video surveillance, access control, and large-scale security platforms, with a strong foundation in IT infrastructure, virtualization, and networked systems. His international career includes delivering complex, high-security projects across aviation, government, and critical infrastructure sectors.
